Executive Director-Jesse Germundson

Jesse Has been Director of NLAHS for 5 years, and an employee since 2018. He believes in providing a platform for people to change their lives.  Having utilized NLAHS services in 2018 he knows the value of a hand-up, not a hand-out.  Jesse leads the shelter by empowering staff and volunteers with the tools needed to support the people that enter homelessness in North Iowa.  ” I truly believe in treating people with compassion, care, and accountability.  We strive here to clear a path for people experiencing homelessness, and help them get back on their feet, and re-integrated into the community.”
